Poser Booleans

Poser Booleans Although this is a Truespace tutorial, it's based on an example you an find in the book "BRYCE 4 FX and design:

First I load a Poser figure into TS. (mine was in 3ds format) . Copy the figure (because we need two halfs of it)
Now create a cube and try to boolean subtract exactly one half of the figure. Probably you got the error message "can't boolean substract, object is not solid). Select one of the poser figures and then right click the polygon reduction tool. Set the detail setting to maximum. Now use the polygon reduction tool on both figures.
You'll finish with the two original poser figures and two new figures. Delete the original poser figurres. You now have two solid figures left. Now you can boolean substract without problems. You should end with one right and one left half of the figure.
Manipulate one half and apply different textures to them.
Put the two halfs together and you'll finish with a hybrid like figure.
