Distance Rendering

Distance Rendering in Bryce

This tutorial describes how to comine two pictures with using the distance mask rendering option from Bryce.

Note:The steps how to apply the mask to your picture is dependent on what Image program you use

Create the first of the two pictures in Bryce and render it as usual to disk. The Result of the "normal" perspective rendering can be seen on the right site >>> INow render the same scene again, but this time choose distance render, Your result should be something like ths: Tip: For the distance render you can disable the "premium effects". You would usaully not notice this optimations in this greyscale picture. AFire up your imgage editing programm and load the distance render image into the alpha mask of picture one (the normal rendering). In Corel Photo Paint you can choose: Maks - load from disk. As a final step apply the Gaussian Blur Effect to the "combined" image.My result is shown below. A larger version of this image is available in the Bryce Galleries.
